Our contest is designed to give a competitive, educational experience for performers and staff alike.

Who

The White Rock Invitational is designed for bands of 100 members or less (including guard/auxiliary).

Adjudication

Judge 1 – 20% – Music
Judge 2 – 20% – Music
Judge 3 – 20% – Music/Percussion
Judge 4 – 20% – Visual
Judge 5 – 20% – Visual/Guard

Group Classifications

Group I – 40 Performers or less
Group II – 41-70 Performers
Group III – 71-100 Performers

Format

This is a “pre-lims only” contest with an awards ceremony at the end. This gives groups plenty of time to enjoy all that Dallas has to offer (state fair will be open)!

Awards

Each Classification will have the following awards:
– 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place
– Outstanding Music
– Outstanding Visual
– Outstanding Percussion
– Outstanding Guard
